Tarasola Technic View Pro: Retractable Louvered Roof Pergola
The top of the Tarasola range: a retractable louvered roof pergola that slides fully open to the sky, paired with cassette-free integrated ZIP screens that seal the terrace on every side.
Retractable Louvered Roof Meets Integrated Screens
The Tarasola Technic View Pro is the answer to a question our clients ask constantly: can one pergola do everything? It combines the quiet scissor-action retractable louvered roof of the Technic View, louvres rotating to vertical and sliding aside for open sky, with the integrated, cassette-free ZIP screens of the Technic Pro, extending directly from the frame with nothing mounted on the outside.
The result is the most versatile aluminium pergola Tarasola makes. On a summer afternoon the retractable louvered roof pergola stands fully open above you; by evening, roof closed and screens lowered, the same structure becomes a sheltered outdoor room. Modules reach 420×611cm on a platform rated for 160 km/h winds and snow loads of 120 to 600 kg/m².
As a specialist Tarasola installer, Harmony View delivers the View Pro as a complete project, free 3D design, precision manufacture, and professional installation with all electrics, LED lighting and automation handled by our own team.

Key Features of the Flagship Retractable Pergola
Everything Tarasola has learned in 20+ years and 15,000+ installations, combined in a single specification.
Roof That Disappears
The retractable louvered roof rotates its blades vertical and slides them aside, open sky above your terrace whenever the sun is out.
Integrated ZIP Screens
Cassette-free screens glide straight out of the frame, enclosing the pergola without a single surface-mounted box.
160 km/h Wind Rating
Flagship structural engineering: winds to 160 km/h and snow loads of 120 to 600 kg/m², in 100% extruded, powder-coated aluminium.
Patented Drainage
Tarasola's patented double-gutter system carries rainwater invisibly down through the posts, keeping every line clean.
Frame LED Lighting
A frame-mounted LED strip bathes the terrace in dimmable light, unaffected by the roof retracting overhead.
Complete Automation
Full sensor, heater and control options: roof, screens, lighting and heating from one remote or smartphone app.

Who Chooses the Tarasola Technic View Pro
The View Pro is for briefs where nothing can be traded away. Four owners who choose it, and why.
Downsizers Investing in the Garden
Rather than move for more living space, many of our clients put the stamp duty into the garden instead. A View Pro adds what is effectively another room: open sky in June, a sealed, heated, screen-enclosed retreat in November, and a structure warrantied and maintained locally from Epsom.
Hotels and Venues
A courtyard that seats sixty in fine weather is worth little on the wrong evening. With a roof that retracts for summer parties, closes against rain in seconds and screens that enclose the space for winter events, the View Pro turns outdoor areas into space that can be sold with confidence all year.
Families Who Entertain Outdoors
The household that hosts everything, birthdays, long lunches, late film nights, needs every mode the range offers: open sky, tuned shade, sealed roof, enclosed and heated room. The View Pro is the only Tarasola that provides all of them in a single structure, from one remote.
Architects and Developers
For premium schemes and penthouse terraces, the View Pro specification reads cleanly: 420×611cm modules, 160 km/h wind rating, snow loads to 600 kg/m², cassette-free screens and any RAL finish, with a single supplier responsible from drawing to commissioning.
Why a Technic View Pro from Harmony View Beats the Alternatives
At the top of the market the brochures all promise everything. The differences sit in the ratings, the integration and who answers the phone afterwards.
- Engineering & ratings
- The View Pro combines a fully retractable scissor louvre roof with cassette-free integrated ZIP screens, rated to 160 km/h winds and 120 to 600 kg/m² snow loads. Typical imported pergolas offer neither retraction nor integration and publish no tested figures; premium European brands usually make you choose one capability or the other.
- Support & warranty
- The most capable pergola in the range has the most moving parts, so Harmony View, a Tarasola pergola specialist, backs every one with a manufacturer warranty of up to 5 years and local servicing from Epsom. Imported kits leave you without a UK spares route; big-brand networks add layers between you and the factory.
- Fit & installation
- Made to order to your exact terrace, then installed complete, roof motors, screen motors, LED strip, heaters, sensors and app control, by one Harmony View team, typically in 1 to 3 days. Imported kits are fixed-size and unwired; many premium brands subcontract installation and electrics separately.
What makes the View Pro unique: it is the only Tarasola, and one of very few pergolas anywhere, that offers every mode in one structure: fully open sky, tuned louvres, a sealed rain-tight roof and a screen-enclosed room, all from a single remote.

Is the Tarasola Technic View Pro Right for You?
Let us be straightforward: this is the flagship, and it is priced like one. The retractable scissor roof and factory-integrated screens make the View Pro the most capable pergola Tarasola builds, but capability you never use is money spent on nothing. If budget is your primary concern, the Tarasola Essential delivers the bioclimatic essentials, motorised louvres rotating 0 to 135°, the same patented hidden drainage and full accessory support, in a compact single-module format at the most accessible price in the louvered range. Between the two sit the Technic, Technic Pro and Technic View, each dropping one View Pro feature to save money. Our advice at the free consultation is simple: buy the modes you will actually use, not the longest specification sheet.
Compare louvered models: the Technic View retractable roof pergola offers the sliding roof without screens, the Technic Pro pairs rotating louvres with integrated zip screens, and the flagship Tarasola Technic bioclimatic pergola anchors the range. Compact garden? Consider the Tarasola Essential, or see every model on the louvered pergolas hub.
