Tarasola Technic Pro: Louvered Pergola with Integrated Zip Screens
All the bioclimatic engineering of the Technic, refined into a minimalist cube: zip screens glide straight out of the frame with no external cassette, enclosing your terrace on every side at the press of a button.
The Electric Pergola with Screens Built Into the Frame
The Tarasola Technic Pro is a louvered pergola with integrated zip screens, and that integration is what sets it apart. Where standalone screens hang from an external cassette bolted to the structure, the Technic Pro's ZIP screens extend directly from within the aluminium frame itself. The result is a perfectly clean, cubic silhouette with nothing to interrupt its lines, open or closed.
Integration brings a practical advantage too: the built-in screens reach up to 600×300cm per side, noticeably larger than the 500×285cm limit of standalone ZIP screens. Overhead, chambered louvres rotate through 0 to 135° with improved slat drainage that reduces droplet splashing, while the structure carries single modules up to 450×696cm and stands firm in winds of up to 160 km/h.
As a fully electric pergola, every element, louvres, screens, LED lighting, heating and audio, is motorised and controlled from a single remote or smartphone app, supplied and installed by Harmony View, a specialist Tarasola installer.

Integrated ZIP screens cover up to 600×300cm per side, beyond the 500×285cm of standalone screens, enclosing even the widest openings.
0 to 135° Bioclimatic Louvres
Chambered aluminium louvres rotate through 135° for precise sun, shade and airflow control over your terrace.
Improved Slat Drainage
Refined louvre drainage reduces droplet splashing in heavy rain, on top of Tarasola's patented double-gutter drainage through the posts.
160 km/h Wind Rating
Flagship-grade extruded aluminium engineering rated for winds up to 160 km/h and snow loads of 120 to 600 kg/m².
One-Touch Electric Control

Who Chooses the Tarasola Technic Pro
The Technic Pro suits people who want their terrace enclosed, not just covered. Four owners we build it for again and again.
Privacy Focused Urban Gardens
In London and Surrey town gardens, the neighbours are close and the sightlines are closer. Lower the integrated ZIP screens, available in 5% or even 1% openness fabric, and the terrace becomes a private room: you see out softly, they see almost nothing in, and no external cassette clutters the cubic lines.
Home Workers Wanting a Second Living Room
Screens down against the wind and low morning sun, louvres tuned for glare-free light, a heater on the cool days: the Technic Pro turns the terrace into a genuine outdoor office and after-hours living room, controlled from one remote or app between calls.
Keen Cooks Wanting an Outdoor Kitchen
An outdoor kitchen only pays for itself if you can cook in October. Enclosed by screens on the windward sides, ventilated through 0 to 135° louvres above the grill and lit by LED Spot and Strip lighting, a Technic Pro keeps the cook, and the guests, out there for most of the year.
Restaurants, Pubs and Cafés Protecting Covers
Wind is what really empties a terrace, not rain. With screens spanning up to 600×300cm per side, larger than any standalone screen, the Technic Pro shelters whole banks of covers at the press of a button, turning fair-weather tables into dependable, bookable revenue.
Why a Technic Pro from Harmony View Beats the Alternatives
Screens can be bolted onto almost any pergola. Building them into the frame from the factory is a different discipline, and it shows in three places.
- Engineering & ratings
- The Technic Pro pairs a 160 km/h wind rating and 120 to 600 kg/m² snow loads with cassette-free ZIP screens spanning up to 600×300cm per side. Typical imported pergolas hang smaller screens from surface-mounted boxes and publish no tested ratings; even premium European brands rarely integrate screens of that span without an external cassette.
- Support & warranty
- As a specialist Tarasola installer, Harmony View supports every screen motor, sensor and louvre locally from Epsom, backed by a manufacturer warranty of up to 5 years. Imported kits typically offer no UK spares route, and big European dealer networks pass you between installer and importer when something needs attention.
- Fit & installation
- Made to order to your exact opening sizes, then installed with all electrics, screen motors, LED, heaters and app control by one Harmony View team, typically in 1 to 3 days. Imported kits come in fixed sizes with wiring left to you; many premium brands split supply and installation between separate companies.
What makes the Technic Pro unique: its ZIP screens extend directly from inside the frame with no external cassette anywhere, and at up to 600×300cm per side they span larger than any standalone screen in the range, so the cubic silhouette stays perfectly clean whether the terrace is open or fully enclosed.

Is the Tarasola Technic Pro Right for You?
A candid note before you spend money with us. The Technic Pro's whole reason for existing is its integrated ZIP screens, so if you look honestly at your garden and conclude you will never need side screens, a sheltered plot, no overlooking neighbours, no biting crosswind, then the standard Tarasola Technic gives you the same 0 to 135° louvred roof, the same 160 km/h wind rating and the same accessory options while saving you money. The right time for the Pro is when enclosure is part of the plan from day one, because factory integration is cleaner and spans larger than screens retrofitted later. Unsure which side of that line you fall on? Ask us at the free design visit and we will tell you straight.
Compare louvered models: the Tarasola Technic bioclimatic pergola offers the same roof without integrated screens, the Technic View adds a fully retractable roof pergola experience, and the Technic View Pro combines retractable louvres with integrated screens.
